He is the only social worker in all of the Pingalwara locations. I also met with a girl named Sweety- who is absol adorable- she has practically fallen head over heels for me- and says it with all her heart. So I visited all the sites with Gulshan Ji; We made rounds to the Metab Meta Niwas- which is the female ward; named after Bhaghat Puran Singh’s Mother-and the Piyara Singh Niwas-which is the male ward; named after Bhaghat Puran Singh’s adopted child- he was Mentally Challenged. I visited with the ward patients of the main location as well. I met with ward no. 1 on my first day and on my second day I met individually with each patient from ward no.2. after meeting with all of the 40 patients- I choose 11 of whom I thought would be able to participate in a group setting- finally on day two we sat out in the sun, under a tree on these lovely white benches- and I ran my first group therap session with patients who are mentally retarded. After sitting with them for over 30 mins I was able to understand who was able to participate and who wasn’t. We went around the circle and I asked the same question to each patient- the questions consisted of what their likes are, what their dislikes are, and if they would sing a song for the group. Many of them would not answer or sing the songs, and then some of them would answer for the others, and the worst patient was who repled “Neeru” to every question- which is her name. This was frustrating at first but then later I realized that it won’t help to get annoyed- infact I chose the patients which I thought would be the best candidates for group therapy and different kinds of experiments. Gulshan Ji and I have decided on doing Clay, Art, Music, Dance Therapy with the patients who I choose. I have finally chosen 6 out the the 11 patients- Lukhbir, Tari, Farida, Satnam Kaur, Shanti, and Kancham.
Lukhbir- She is pretty quiet- seems like she is always embarassed- which is possible because she has a beard on her face; but she is able to sing and interact slowly and vocally is low.
Tari- is a dark colored woman, who is also pretty shy- although once she gets started she starts to talk and comment on others stories. Once Tari starts to sing, she doesn’t want to do anything other than sing.
Farida- Is a muslim woman, who is also a little shy- although she talks of her family- husband and children. She reports she wants to go home. She doesn’t know where “Home” is.
Satnam Kaur- is a brilliant woman- she is not mentally challenged at all- infact she and her husband lived together till her husband passed away- then was unable to care for herself- and was shifted to Pingalwara. Pt is very interactive- and able to sing full songs.
Shanti- Is also a Shy woman- who talks only when asked a question- but she is going to be an interesting challenge- making her more interactive-
Kancham- Finally my fav Patient- Kancham is a VERY talkative patient- who excessively talks, especiall regarding her friends in pingalwara- she talks over the other group memebers- answering questions for them- although when asked to stop talking and let the others finish; she simply stops talking and waits for me to ask her to start talking again. Kancham is able to sing songs, and is aware of the situation around her.
These are the patients of my group.
Later that day I met with Dr.Naki who is a visiting medical doctor- Dr. Naki is a phenomenol doctor- whoo does not have his own private practice, rather goes and volunteers his time at different NGO’s such as Pingalwara. Wemet with a patient who has Neuro Fibro Mytosis. That is a disease where at patint has boils- such as a califlour effect all over the body. She is covered from head to toe. Dr. Naki explained this is a text book case. And hopes to take this patient to the hospital to show his students this case.

Diary

January 12, 2009
12 days in India- Traveling from town to town; I started my trip in Delhi- visiting my In-laws- which in its self is fun. It’s always entertaining to see people after a long time. Then I left for Amritsar- my destination; main reasons for being in India. I have taken a HUGE step by leaving everything I know behind to do charity work. At first getting to Amritsar was exciting, Visiting the Golden Temple and roaming the streets. But then I started to feel wary; and unsure of my decision. I guess I was just feeling a bit dis-hearted- being alone in a new town. Of course I know many people in Amritsar- but to have a companion is always helpful. Any ways, I went to go visit my relatives in Batala- as that was a Sad Trip. I stayed at Kaka Chacha and Rosie Chachie’s house as usual. But this time it was DIFFERENT; with this awful tragedy in our family of losing Sumeet. I still can’t believe he is not with us; it strikes me as unreal. Well this is a battle of life; and sadly we are fighting for our lives in this battle. It scares me, because this tragedy has left Kaka Chacha Broken to pieces, and Rosie Chachie in a state of Depression. Leaving from Batala made me very sad, and at the same time I felt relieved. That evening I went to Darbar Sahib- feeling at peace, praying for everyone around me. The next day I went to Pingalwara- My Final Destination! Getting there was actually very easy from my Hotel- cost me 50rs by Auto (I possibly gave the Auto driver a little too much-but that’s ok). I got there and wanted to meet with Dr. Inderjeet Kaur, although unfortunately she was unavailable- I met with a Mr. Rahi- who in turn made my experience all the sweeter. He met with me and I explained to him what I had done- left my job, and Home to come and volunteer. He was impressed at seeing my enthusiasm, and reading my resume. He immediately offered me housing, which I kindly declined (I want to be closer to Darbar Sahib to be able to go and visit daily- as in America its impossible to go to Gurdwara on a regular basis- therefore I have decided I will try to go Every SINGLE DAY that I am in Amritsar). I was given a tour of Pingalwara in the Amritsar Location- I visited the women’s ward- women who have been picked up from the streets, deaf and mute, and even women who are HIV+. They were all so welcoming and warm to me. In fact they were excited to see a new face. After that, Rahi Uncle offered a tour to the Manawal location as well. That’s aprox 30 min away from the Amritsar Location. A few Military Wives wanted a tour, and I was also sent along with them to see this other location- WHICH WAS AMAZING! I couldn’t beieve my eyes- Pingalwara is so CLEAN! I mean I was under the impression that it was going to be this dirty place- but on the contrary it was entirely different. I was given the chance to meet with deaf/mute children, children who cannot afford schooling; and are being schooled at Pingalwara; I was also given the opportunity to meet the most amazing two children. I met with Conjoined Twins, Sonu and Monu.

A Few Cases:

Shanti- Shanti is 55 yo, pts husband passed away a few years ago; due to his death patient became severely depressed. pt has two daughters which are both married. Pt was left alone, and her sister decided to play DOCTOR and administered her Diabetic medication to the patient in the hopes of making her feel better. I have a task which needs to be completed before I leave India.
I need to come up with a plan to change the wards for my Mentally Challenged Patients.
here is the PROBLEM: It needs to be LOW BUDGET, as well as Comprehensive for my Patients. Keep in mind these patients are very low functioning. My Patients sit around in the sun all day, sleeping and doing hardly anything. They need some sort of Activity.
here are some of my ideas: Please ENHANCE

-Wards to be painted in diff colors to add brightness
-Activities: Puzzles, Coloring Books, Drawing, for Educated patients-reading material,
-games
-music
-prizes for best behaved, dressed, for helping sewadars etc..
-Competitions
-Acting Class
-Dance Class
-Performances
-Sports- Badminton

Once it is decided on what to do, we will hire a few girls and train them on how to keep these patients active. Our Patients sit around doing NOTHING, causing their brains to rot, and limbs to stiffen. Its very sad to see these patients just sitting around laying in the sun.

PLEASE HELP WITH YOUR IDEAS!!

                                                                                  Best wishes, and Regards,
                                                                                                     Rubina Bedi

Savarna

Savarna is a 75 yo Female, who worked for Pingalwara all her life. So Thank GOD he is back- Cuz it was getting kinda tiring dealing with all these patients by myself, and worse is the STAFF. They love it that he is gone- they take advantage of EVERYTHING-

Especially the warden at the Mata Metab Kaur Ward- This is the Female Ward in Amritsar City.

This warden thinks she can do whatever she wants - ARGH she drives me CRAZY!!!

So Gulshan Sir and I were making our rounds at the MMK ward, and we went upstairs to check on the wards upstairs- Gulshan Sir took one side, and I took another. As I was going around, this one patient came Running at me, screaming 'CHURIYA CHURIYA CHURIYA!!!" She saw my Gold Bangles and wanted them. So she grabbed them, and wouldn't let go of my arm, her other arm wrapped around my head, and she started pulling my hair.... Here I am thinking
"FANTASTIC- she is going to throw me off the roof, and no Sewadars around either to help me!!" so finally I pull my one hand loose and try to push her off of me, she finally let go of my bangles- but my hair was in her full grasp. Ok so no problem,
Thank God for Princeton House Behavioral Health- Handle with Care Training. Well I wasn't too concerned about myself as I didn't want to Hurt her. I mean come on, she is mentally challenged-
So I let her pull my hair, and I pushed into her, so she couldn't exactly pull very much, and then jerked my head away from her, while she scratched my neck.
So now i have this little cut on my neck and its bleeding, and I'm thinking, GREAT!!!!!
But Seriously, all she wanted were my Bangles.... and I had the Nerve to show them off and not give them to her.
So when I go back to Pingalwara I will take Bangles for her so she has some of her own! I cause road accidents wherever I go...But todays was ESPECIALLY SPECIAL! I simply mind my own business out here in Amritsar, I listen to my Ipod to avoid unnecessary comments on the road side. Well today I wore a suit- PINK-GULABO...very pretty...simple...with a Pink Shawl... Of course I look VERY DIFFERENT from all the girls out here, but I can't help it. So any ways- I'm on my way to work- on a Rickshaw- AS USUAL- and these two guys on a motorcycle turn their heads to look at me.... and then BAM!
The motorcycle crashes into the car ahead of him!!!!
The guy on the back of the motorcycle yells- "WHAT THE HELL?" (in Punjabi of course) and the guy in the front yells back "YAAR THE GIRL ON THE RICKSHAW CAUSED IT!" lol
I couldn't help but laugh, and then they had the nerve to pull up next to my Rickshaw (of course after recollecting their hurt ego and get back on the motorcycle) and make more comments!
I JUST KEPT LISTENING TO MY IPOD and KEPT LAUGHING!!!!

A Similar Incident happened Yesterday- as I was walking back from Golden Temple to my hotel- I Encountered a DOG sitting on top of a rickshaw- and as a AUTO Rickshaw pulled near- the dog started to BARK at the Auto Driver!!! OF COURSE you had to be there.... but it was pretty funny- so of course, what did I do?.... Yes if you know me... you guessed it... I was laughing like a idiot on the street by myself at this DOG!!!

Okay Enough of my Funny Stories.... Today was an Amazing Day! Apart from it Being MY BABY BROTHERS BIRTHDAY- I had an AMAZING session with my group patients. Well okay so I lied a little.... it wasn't amazing...it was BLOW OUT CRAZY AMAZINGLY FANTASTIC!!! Today two of my patients had gone to the dentist, so we only had 5 opposed to our usual 7 (inc. our new patient Kulwant Kaur!) We did our usual... the group seemed a bit tired...especially since it was so sunny out today- we were peeling our shawls off! Farida kept singing to herself so I had to ask her to leave, but she wouldn't leave- and finally opened up. She started to cry and say " I WANT TO GO HOME!! I want to see my child and I just want to go home! Take me HOME!" i was able to understand this, but the problem is, HOW CAN WE SEND HER HOME??? When she arrived at Pingalwara she was beat up, all bashed up, head wounds, and tortured- BY HER HUSBAND! so how in the world do you send her home? She really is not fit to go home- SADLY!

Later they were all sent to their wards, and I kept behind Kulwant (New Pt), and Satnam. These are my two patients with the most comprehension. Kulwant as explained in one of my previous blogs was a Lawyer, and Satnam is a well educated woman. I really wanted to trigger friendship amongst them, so they have a companion throughout the day.

The three of us started to talk, and were able to understand where Kulwants Paranoia comes from. Kulwant is Paranoid of any MALE figure. I was assigned to do her Case History work up and Evaluate her and diagnose her. Pt is a 58 yo Indian Sikh Female, Unmarried, Lawyer. Pt has been depressed since her teenage years (18-19yo) while in school/college. Pt feels she is very sensitive to what anyone says- and therefore after practicing law for 1-2 years she left law. Her Family was not supportive of her educational background. Pt lived with Mother and 2 brothers along with their wives and children. After mothers death in 1995- pts brothers and their families would fight with patient to make her life HELL. Pt was forced to leave her home- and she started to live at the Darbar Sahib (Golden Temple). She is severely depressed, pt is unable to eat, sleep, or partake in any activties. Pt feels vulnerable, and unable to function. Pt is also very paranoid- in regards to any male ruining her image or challenging her character. Pt is very fearful of any male presence, therefore a female sewadarni must go with her to all doctors appointments etc.. This patient is VERY INTELLIGENT, and EDUCATED! My plan is to get her started on some psychotropic medications and possible have her join up with a group called SHAKTI- this group deals with WOMEN, especially those who have been harassed by their husbands, families etc.. This group is for women, to help them get back into the world.
Kulwant Kaur has lost her whole life to Depression and Paranoia- But if I can do anything about it, I want to see her working again- and its VERY POSSIBLE!!! I want her life to become meaningful ONCE AGAIN!!!! :o)
I Am very passionate about her- and she is willing to do whatever it takes, and whatever I say.
LETS ALL PRAY FOR KULWANT KAUR- All my patients need your prayers- and that's all I'M ASKING FOR!
Thanks for reading my Blog!

Shahida Sahib Gurdwara

Martyrdom of a Scholar (Baba Deep Singh)Gurdwara Shahid Baba Deep Singh, Dist. Amritsar :
The great Sikh scholar and martyr Baba Deep Singh was mortally wounded here. In 1762 the Afghan invader Ahmed Shah Abdali ordered the Golden Temple blown up and the Sacred Tank filled in. Baba Deep Singh the greatest Sikh scholar of his time took up the sword on a mission to restore the sanctity of the Golden Temple. He along with five thousand faithful Sikhs fought against the Muslim forces of Jahan Khan. Although heavily outnumbered the Sikhs fought bravely. Baba Deep Singh was fatally wounded in the neck(head cut off) but had vowed to die in the precincts of the Golden Temple. Although mortally wounded Baba Deep Singh was able to continue fighting, while carrying his head in one hand, until he was able to make his way to the Sacred Pool of the Golden Temple where he finally expired.
It is said- If you go to this gurdwara with a clean heart and with truly god in your mind- you will get anything you ask for. Since Gulshan Ji has gone to his Home in MP, I am taking over all his tasks. Therefore It is my responsibiliy to check over which patients are arriving, which patients are going to the hospital, and which patients are to be released from the hopital. Its an interesting task- making sure the patient has cleared all medical exams, HIV tests, and TB Tests, doing case history reports, and evaluations of the patients on the admissions forms.
I was making my rounds at the Piara Singh Ward yesterday and was meeting with all the new admissions, doing evaluations, trying to get information out of these patients. Many patients are hard of hearing, some don't know where they came from, and cannot tell even who to call.
Baghwan on the other hand knows exactly where he came from, and what he wants to do next. Baghwant is an Addictions patient. He is addicted to Smack, Bhaang, and Alcohol. Pt last used a day or two ago. He comes from a very good family background- although his addiction has ruined many lives; his mother who is now poor due to Baghwant's addiction, His wife who even if she wishes to leave him, cant because they have two children together and his two children, who desire the love of their father.
Baghwant was dropped off by his family- They have become sick of his addiction and for the 3rd time they are seeking help from Pingalwara- Baghwant is a Frequent Flier- Unfortunately Baghwant cannot stop his cravings- Since he has not used for two days- he has started to go through withdrawls. Pt is sweating, shaking, tremors etc.. These withdrawl symptoms are causing agitation and irritation with Baghwant- Sadly the sewadars don't understand how to help him, in fact they fear him because of his size and his cursing. rather then getting him a medical check up and have him medically cleared they are trying to tie him to his bed so he doesn't get violent. Obviously he will become violent- It took 4 Sewadars to control him and my talking him down. Finally after a bit of a struggle, a few sewadars including myself being cursed at and hit we were able to calm him down.
Sadly since he could not control his rage, he was tied to his bed the whole night, and untied early the next morning. I was able to speak to Beeji (Dr. Inderjeet Kaur), Col Bawa Sir, and Rahi Sir- finally the orders were given for a medical check up.
Before going home I decided to visit the Piara Singh ward- and I was promised from Baghwnt that he will Behave and not bother the sewadars- and that he will not act out or become violent or curse. I was surprised to see that he kept his promise this morning when I made my rounds at Piara Singh Ward.

Hopefully we will be able to make a difference in Baghwant Singh's life- and those attached to him. It really matters at how much he wants to help himself.

My Group-

My Group consists of 6 women-as I had mentioned earlier I chose 6 women out of 40+. These women are either mentally retarded, have epilepsy or are just in old age. We meet for about 1-2 hours daily. These women have made such progress within our first week of group therapy- it’s unbelievable. All day long, all they do is sit outside in the sun; they have no activity which gives them some brain stimulation. A lot of the times if you walk by the ward you will see these women either yelling at each other, or just sleeping in the sun with flies all around.
Gulshan Ji and I have decided to take a few women and experiment different activities on them-to see what progress they are making. Then after that has been completed we will be taking a 3 of the 6 into the Sensory room. The Sensory room is a place where the walls and floors are padded- lights turned off, music is turned on, and different types of lights are projected onto the floors and walls. This is a room for the therapist to observe the patient interact with the lights and sounds. This room as created by another volunteer, such as myself for the children. The second Sensory room is a brightly lit room with many colors- it is also padded wall to floor- with toys and objects which help the patient work with touch, smell, feel, sound etc.. Gulshan Ji and I would like to see how this type of brain stimulus will help our patients from the Psychiatric ward.
Our Group consists of us talking about different topics- we talk about how to cook food, the prep of that food, we do Simran –(Chanting of gods name) which is absol amazing- because they know so many religious songs, and sing very well. We also sing songs, which is very sweet because they know songs from the early 70’s or 80’s and have no idea about songs from any later time. We also talk about a scene- and draw it. For example- I will ask them what is outside a House- and as they talk and start to yell out different items I start to draw it on a piece of paper – they will yell out: House, Windows, Trees, Plants, Flowers, Cycle, Grass, Water Pump, Car, Birds, Garden etc.. And at the end of this activity I will pass around this sheet which I have drawn all these items on and they will identify them. We have drawn many scenes, such as: The Ocean, School Grounds, House, and Kitchen. One of the activities which they really enjoyed was when we drew the Ocean- because we also drew a boat- then we took some news paper and we folded it into a boat- It was great how some of them were able to keep up with the activity and some were not- the ones that were able to keep up with the activity were helping the ones who could not make the boat.
3 of my Group members talk a lot and 3 of them do not- Many times I have to tell Kancham, Tari and Satnam ji to talk less, and I have to yell at Lukhbir, Farida and Shanti to talk more. It’s amazing how their speech has imporved and clarity. I always tell them that I am Hard of hearing and that they need to speak loud in order for me to hear them- Then they start to speak louder- They were given the task to talk amonst themselves and talk about different types of foods they like and how to prepare those dishes. It was amazing how they forgot for a while that I was even there- they were so involved. They talked forever about food and preps of those foods and then asked each other advice and even gave advice. It was fun to watch them interact and become friends.
This week we plan to start some arts and crafts with them, hopefully some clay therapy, drawings, and string therapy. I have many plans- lets see if they are able to fall into place-

I Don't want to become OLD!

I am Officially Afraid of getting OLD!
For the past two days I have been running around from the Manawal Location to the Amritsar Location making rounds with Gulshan Ji (My Senior- Social worker)-
Yesterday I was at the Manawal Location- I sat in the Male Ward and did some Counseling- and then today I sat with my group. I could not believe the imporvement they are making. Since Yesterday I was in the Manawal Location I could not meet with my Group- and Today they were asking me why I didn't come today. I will write more about my group tomo.
The reason I am afraid of growing old- well today Again I went to Manawal With Dr.Neki ( A VERY Noble Doctor who spends his time with Pingalwara patients- Dr. Neki is a very simple man, he does not own a car or motor cycle-he goes from one hospital to another by Cycle!)
today we went to the Manawal Location- and made rounds of patients- I saw many patients who were just left in Pingalwara to ROT by their families- rich families! ofcourse many of the patients have been found on the streets- etc..
I cannot even put into words what I have seen today- I just wish and pray to god to take me into his arms once I am unable to care for myself and family. Any ways I meet interesting people- like today I sat next to a Science Teacher from the Manawal Pingalwara School- he was talking to me, and we had an interesting coversation on OBAMA! People out here find it soooooo crazy that America has elected a Black President- but Im all Joy!! :)
So I got to Manawal around 8:30am- meeting up with my Senior- Gulshan Ji- who is a MSW- he basically runs all the sites and is the single Social Worker for Pingalwara! I am learning new techniques from Gulshan Ji, and different ways to interact with patients. This experience is def. worth it!!! I couldn't have asked for more adventure and experience!
so Today i sat in the Male Ward counseling all the patients- some were lower functioning; but most were very comprensive- I met with Raj Sharma today- a Patient who is not mentally ill, infact He is 26 years old, and was working for an electric company 3 1/2 years ago- he fell from a pole, and lost all feeling in his lower body- leaving him paralyzed. His parents didn't want anything to do with him, and dumped him in Pingalwara- the most encouraging part of his whole experince is that he doesn't blame anyone- yes he is depressed, and has some suicidal thoughts- but still he is not angry at his family or friends. He passes his time in the male ward with many mentally challenged patients- and paints. I couldn't beleive the in depth work he has put into his paintings. Raj has promised to make me a painting- oh I forgot to mention that Raj only paints different forms of religious beings. He strongly believes in his hindu god, Shiv ji; and mostly paints Shiv Ji, also Guru Nanak Dev Ji, Jesus, etc..
I also took a child who is Mentally Retarded to the Sensory Room- we played with the different lights and forms of music- to see what type of brain stimiulation he gets- then we went into the sensory play room which contains differnt toys of touch, feel, smell etc.. We really had a great time throwing things at each other- I took some videos- and will surely post them soon!
okay- so its getting late- and I have to walk back to my Hotel now- so See Ya All later!!
I Promise to post some pictures REALLY SOON!!!
Okay a Mouse just ran up the wall infront of my Computer- therefore i am signing out- cuz im a deathly afraid of it...
Yikes!

Pingalwara day 2

2 nd day at Pingalwara- well my first day consisted of individually meeting with the patients from ward no. 1; and so forth today with ward no. 2. out of both wards- I have chosen 11 patients- all who are classified Mentally retarded. The two wards combined had aprox 40 patients- many of which did not speak, repeated back to me what I said, some when asked "is it day or night?" most mos most of them replied "NIGHT" - at one point I started to doubt myself- maybe it really is night- but no no no its day, its bright blue out! The next question which was being asked was "what color sweater am I wearing?" and each replied, blue, pink, green, orange- but only those 11 patients actually replied the correct color- YELLOW!
Finally those 11 patients were pulled out of he wards and we sat under a tree in the sunlight- and we talked. Well mainly i was trying to break the ice with some simple warm ups. At no point did i feel frustrated or irritated- I know very well what type of population I am dealing with. We went around the circle and each patient was asked the same question, we went around three times- the patients who were able to answer three questions were the ones I choose. Finally i choose 6 patients- Lukhbir, Shanti, Kancham, Satwant Kaur, Farida and Tari. These 6 patients are going to be my project for the next few months. We are going to see how much brain stimulation we can get going- what activities we are able to do, and possibly put on a show or skit.
Later- I said with Renowned Dr. Naki- helping him visit with other patients of the numerous wards- Dr. Naki does the patients medical checkup, prescribes medications etc.. Today even Dr.Naki was stunned to see a particular patient. This patient had boils all over her body- as per Dr.Naki "This patient is a Text Book Case!" this patient had, small, medium, large, extra large boils all over her body, from head to toe. You could barely make out he color of her skin, or even her features. This disease according to Dr. Naki is called Neuro Fybro Mytosis; a Tumor of he nerve endings.
Read for More... tomo!

Welcome to India...

Welcome to India, Rubina... Coming to India is a new experience in itself...well its fun and boring at times. Fun because i get to spend alot of time with family and friends who i have not seen in ages; you can imagine how that is. especially all the family parties, food, dancing, and dressing up. For those of you on Facebook you have already seen that. Regarding the boring part- well we come to india with alot of hopes- or at least i did, and its dishearting when nothing is being accomplished- mainly becuase people in punjab are lazy! well also because i have no idea where i am going, whom to talk with, and where to get items and get to places i need. Its annoying! but my hotel is right next to Darbar Saahib- GOLDEN TEMPLE- which is the best part of all. i walk to the golden temple daily and sit and listen to prayers. Its actually interesting...I do forget to carry my camera places- which is bad on my part. YIKES- Sorry Aman! hehehe :)
Okay well I start my work at Pingalwara tomo morning- which for me is VERY EXCITING- i finally get to make a differnce. I visiting pingalwara- (again forgetting to take my cam) and was shocked at how beautiful it is. beautiful in the sense that its clean, and people are so friendly, the patients are absol amazing!
My weekends consist of visiting Batala-grandma, and uncles and aunts, or going to Jalandhar- visiting other relatives. I have been in delhi most of the time- therefore don't plan to head that way anytime soon- but def have the most fun out there. But i have to keep in mind- that having fun is not the purpose of my trip!!!!!
STAY ON TRACK RUBINA!!! :)
okay- well its a rainy day, and well prob best for me to go and walk the streets of Amritsar to make my self familiar with the area im living in.
Yes I DO MISS AMAN- it does get lonely- and well i am making the best of it!
Thanks everone for your Lovely Birthday wishes on Facebook- I truly had a great bday! I will try to post the pics asap!
Lots of Love-
Rubina :)

My Decision...

"Kindness is the language which the deaf can hear and the blind can see" Mark Twain

I have started a new chapter in my life- I have made a decision...
My Decision to make a change for the world!
